Overview

If you forget your MyNaz password or if it expires, you can independently recover your account using the Authx.naz.edu password reset tool.

 

Recovering Your Password

  1. Go to authx.naz.edu and click on "Recover Password"
  2. Enter your MyNaz username and click Search

 

 

Next, select the recovery option you want to use.  Only the methods that you have completed previously will be available to choose from:

 

 

The example below uses the recovery phone option.  It will likely be your most expedient option.

 

If you wish to use the Alternate Email or Security Questions:

If you choose to answer security questions, you will be redirected to answer the questions before being sent a link to your alternate email to reset your password.

By choosing email or recovery phone, you will be sent a code to be entered before you are redirected to reset your password.

FAQ

Q: How long are the codes good for?
A: They are good for 5 minutes.

Q: Does capitalization of letters matter?
A: No, you can enter the codes in either capital, lower case or mixed.

Q: What formats are valid for phone numbers?
A: Phone numbers must contain 10 digits. Most input formats should work.

Q: Is the phone number monitored that sends the codes out?
A: No, this phone is not monitored.

Q: I didn’t receive a code when trying to recover my password, or add my recovery phone.
