PowerVar Security Plus UPS in George Hall

The PowerVar Security Plus UPS (model ABCDEF6000-22) was installed on 2021-08-24.
It powers all three data closets in George Hall.
This is an image of the front panel:

• As long as the Line & INV buttons are green, the unit is healthy.
• If the BYPASS button is amber, contact Exponential Power for support.
• If the FAULT button is red, contact Exponential Power for support.
• If you lose power to the data closets and the Line button is green, press the NORMAL/BYPASS button.
• If you still do not have power to the data closets after pressing the NORMAL/BYPASS button, you will need to
• mechanically bypass the UPS by disconnecting the power cable leading out of the box labeled “Feed For UP1”
• from the UPS, and connecting it directly to the to the box labeled “EM”. You will need to disconnect the cable
• from the box labeled “EM” to do this (see image below for reference):
• “Feed For UP1” provides power coming into the building.
• “EM” provided power to the data closets.
