Overview
General support information to address common issues with office printers/copiers. If the steps in this article do not resolve the printing issue, please submit a printer support request to the Technology & Media Service Desk.
Environment
All Nazareth-owned office and computer lab printer/copier devices.
Resolution
Below are some basic troubleshooting steps you can take to resolve basic issues with your printer.
- Check to make sure the printer/copier is plugged in and is turned on
- Check to be sure there is paper in the printer/copier.
- Restart your computer.
- Check for error codes or message on the printer LCD panel if available. Note any error messages on the panel to relay to ITS support.
- Depending on the error codes, you might be able to clear the error by powering the printer off ( wait 10 seconds) then on again.
- If you have more than one printer in your area, be sure you selected the correct printer for your print job.
