Overview
This article briefly explains Financial aid information available to Parent proxies in Naznet Self-Service
General Proxy Access
Adding an authorized user (person person) allows that person to view your bill, make payments online and communicate with the University regarding your financial information. The required steps are described here: https://www2.naz.edu/student-accounts/add-authorized-user-person-proxy
If an authorized user forgets their Person Proxy Naznet password, then they should visit go.naz.edu/proxy. They will be prompted to enter in the username they were given. A password reset email will be sent to their email address on file.
When logging into NazNet as an authorized user, the Person Proxy may choose to proceed as themselves or as the individual for whom they are an authorized user. If they choose to proceed as themselves, then no bills will be listed. If they choose to proceed as the invidual for whom they are the Person Proxy, then the bills of that individual will be listed. In other words, after logging into NazNet Self Service with their Person Proxy credentials, your parents should choose to proceed as Salem, rather than as themselves. If they choose to proceed as themselves, then your bills will not be listed.
Parent Proxy Access to Financial Aid Information
When a student sets up a parent proxy, there is a check box to allow parents to access Financial aid information. This is a bit misleading, as it only allows Nazareth's Financial Aid team to speak with the parent proxy - over the phone, in person, etc. It does NOT allow or enable parent proxies to login to the Netpartners Financial Aid site that is linked to in Naznet Self Service. That site requires a MyNaz credential and only the student can do that at this time.
