This article describes the process for installing and launching the OpenText CX-E Voicemail Admin desktop client
Installing the OpenText CX-E Desktop Client
The setup.exe is found in \\naz-fs-05\repo\Applications\AVST 221. server and client installs\ClientNetInstall.
Run setup.exe.
Click Next on the Welcome screen:
Click Yes to accept the License Agreement:
Select only the Administration client application then click Next:
Review your selections and click Next to install:
The installation takes a few minutes to complete. Once it is done, you will need to reboot your computer by selecting Finish:
Launch CX Desktop Administration from the Windows Start Menu:
In the Administration - Logon box, enter the server name naz-avst-01. For the user ID, select one of the following options:
If you have been told to use your Nazareth network ID, simply click the Windows Authentication box and your ID will automatically be filled in. Do not enter your password.
If it is not a Nazareth network ID, enter only the ID and password you were provided:
The application will launch as long as the user ID has permission to access it:
