Updating Google Chrome Browser

Overview

Most installs of Google Chrome should update automatically.  To ensure that it is up to date, you can take the following simple steps. 

To check:
  1. Open a new Tab in Chrome
  2. Go to the three dot menu just under the "X" used to close chrome.
  3. Select Help -> About Google Chrome
  4. The screen should say "Chrome is up to date" and "Version 100.xxxxxx" (or higher).
  5. If you are NOT at the most recent version Chrome should automatically start the update process and then prompt to Relaunch Chrome.
